Hi guys. I am swapping evo 8 head to evo 5.
There is a different heater return hose connection between all other evos than evo 8.
Evo 4-7/9 head has T-shaped tee like on picture below with 14mm return from heater:

but my new head from evo 8 has connection like this which is 8mm only:


So i see three options and my questions:
1. is there a possibility to take of those part from head and press new one? This tee is availiable as spare part MD184160


anyone tried to take off those from evo 8 head and put a new one - t-shaped like above?

2. When fitting evo 8 thermostat housing, need to change main water pipe (from water pump) for sure. What more need to be changed? Lower radiator hose? Heater return hose? Any other problems?

3. Some people just install tee. They don't take off those connection from head, just install tee 8/8/14mm. But i am wondering if interior heating will work proper. There is 14mm standard, and after "teeing" there is only 8mm heater return hose instead. This is 1/3 of normal flow thtough heater. Anyone was making like this? Is there any problem with interior heating?
