my evo somethimes does not want to start the first try when its cold(second try and it fires right up) but it doesnt always do that somethimes it cranks for a second or 2 and then picks up and idle's normally
but if i leave the car for like 8-11 hours after driving and try to start it everything is fine ,it only does that when i try to start it the next day(somethimes)

i suspect the cam sensor or fuel pressure regulator but im not 100%sure

 

What fuel are your using? and is the EvO tuned? @JamieEVO8

Many of us running ethanol have cold start issues but a tuner can make changes to the ECU cold start tables

Just a thought!
