3 Pin Throttle Position Sesnor (EVO 4)
Hello Everyone,
I am in desperate need of help. I just bought an Evo 4 a month ago, although the car runs fine. But i am having this strange jerking while driving issue (which is v v annoying). I got it diagnosed with a reputable guy here, and the code which the car is throwing is for TP Sensor. Now as per the previous owner the car had a broken 4 pin TP sensor whose grip was broken and is now rewired somehow.
Now i want to have the sensor replaced , but despite searching for hours and hours in the local market. I am unable to find a 4 pin TP Sensor. A friend has told me that there is a guide available somewhere where you can convert a 3 pin sensor to 4 pin one (3 pin TPS are readily available here).
Now can anyone tell me if this is true or not ? and is there any method available for conversion ? i will be v v thank full. Despite of enjoying the car , i am regretting my decision of buying it

The issue which i am facing is
Sometimes while cruising engine check light comes on , and the only way it goes away if i accelerate a bit and the BOV throws some air out. Then it goes away. Now when the light comes the car feels like its jerking a bit or there is certain lag in acceleration
The person whom i took the car into drove the car while the diagnostics device is connected. The car gave the code of TP sensor and knock sensor. The guy whom i bought the car from is saying that he has already replaced like 3 knock sensors due to this problem, but the CEL issue is still there.
He is STRONGLY suggesting that i should just replace the BOV / Re-circulator valve with something else (currently the one installed is of an Air Trek , since mine is an air trek engine as well) . The tech guy is insisting that it can either be issue because of TP / Knock sensors OR it can be the ECU . He said that we can just install an EVO 5 ecu and see if this issue gets resolved
I am stuck in this fiesco and dunno what to do now.
