Evo 9 fuel return help
Evo 9 fuel return help
Hey all.
Looking for some help, I am busy upgrading underhood fuel lines to E85 safe hoses with AN fittings etc.
Have everything but the fitting for the hardline fuel return. From what I have read, it is 1/4" line , i measured 7.7mm OD, but I cant seem to find a suitable fitting for this.
Can anyone point me in the right direction with a fitting from 1/4" hardline to -6AN ?

Had everything out on Saturday but the return line after flex sensor is 1/4"
found this on Amazon which i think can work.
Hah my bad, I thought you were doing what everyone does and use the feed line as the new return. Unless I'm mistaken, the factory return hard line doesn't take a fitting from the rail, just rubber hose over pipe. From the hard line to the fuel hanger I think what you have linked is probably correct. This is what I used to adapt the factory feed line at the fuel pump hanger.

* I'm still using the factory return at the hanger, so I haven't verified the size of the pipe myself. It's made for standard automotive fuel fittings though, and the standard feed fitting i linked worked perfectly.

you correct the standard return is normal rubber hose over pipe. I had an issue with standard rubber hose which cracked on the inside and a piece of rubber got stuck in the flex sensor, causing the fuel pressure to rise to like 8bar / 116psi on idle. so just want to change everything at once to proper hose.
have an idea on the fittings now, will have to put an order in. Dont have anything here in South Africa.
