So I took my car for a mountain drive 2 plus hours. Parked it for two days in hotel, went back down to start it wouldn’t start. Car was running great on drive up.

Thought it might be fuel as it’s the only mod not done yet so I changed fuel pump it primes I have spark, I have gas and compression. Checked timing belt but was also recently done so was pretty sure it wasn’t that. Fuses all look good.

Driving me nuts any advise will help.

 

What kind of elevation change? Is your EvO tuned?

Only about 2000 ft nothing crazy. Had the car towed home. It’s tuned with a apexi FC off Evo 5. 560 injectors new fuel pump.

 

So it wont start now at the home location? I thought if you were at some high elevation (7000ft or above) a quick shot of starter fluid would get ya running.

Something changed, for sure. Sorry, cant be more help. Maybe some others will chime in w/some help

I dont suppose a CEL has illuminated?

 

No check engine light and only code is throttle position sensor but it’s reading the right voltage on the apexi. I haven’t tired starter fluid that’s just the gas spray correct ?

 

Was only thinking starter fluid when i thought you were at altitude & just needed to get the engine fired. Ive seen YouTubers spray a bit inside the intake pipe but i dont think thats your issue

What code no. is that for the Throttle Pos Sensor?

 

So after clearing that code I’m getting new one. I don’t have a scanner so it’s old school blinking AYC it’s showing code 12 power supply open or short circuit. FML this is not going to be fun like everythung Seems to be working except car won’t start so what could it be. Guess I’ll have to figure out how to multimeter everything to find the problem or does anyone have any better ideas
