Brining Evo 8 back to Life - Need TS ideas/help
It's been a long time since I've posted on here...
Long story short, I got carried away with wire removals when I put in a new engine harness (w/ quick firewall disconnect
) and ended up removing all of the oem wiring
. This was back in 2017 and have slowly been working on it the past 6 years (Got married, two kids... not a lot of free time
) I've got everything wired up and am at the point of trying to get the car to fire up. The car will crank, but won't fire up. I'm getting fuel, but not sure about spark. Installed new fuel pump and verified 10V when cranking. I'm at the point of using ECUflash and Evoscan to help me troubleshoot. I was able to read my ECU rom using ECUflash and verified my immobilizer is disabled (FAA is 0 and Immob Hex is 0040). So, it's on to the next round of troubleshooting.
Does the Fuel Tank Differential Pressure sensor have to be wired for ignition? Mitsu Wire Diagram shows this as an input signal for ignition, but not sure with all the ECU mods/changes over the years. Car is tuned for Speed Density.
Current Status at 75k miles:
50+ hours of track time
Stop Tech BBK 6 piston front 4 piston rear
5th clutch - Exedy Twin Push style
AMS Performance 2.0L Built Engine at 75k miles - AMS Tuned 510Hp 420Tq
CBRD RBX Kit 7163 BW Turbo
Kelford 272 cams
Shep Trans at 56k
Shep stage 2 TC at 62k
TRE 12 Max Lock 1.5 rear diff
Ohlins Road & Track Coilovers
