Question Evo 8 rich/poor idle randomly

My evo 8 is fully built on speed density, full e85, s3 cams, AGT 64mm turbo. I've been getting a rich idle about 50-75% of the time warming up and fully warmed. It'll start to idle around 10.5-12.5 and ignition sounds more scrambled then the big lopey chug it normally does. I replaced my IACv with another known good one and changed me o2 sensor. Anything else I should check/test?

How long ago was the car tuned?
Have you done a boost leak test?

you'd be the 5th person in recent memory to have posted about issues while on SD. the previous guys, including myself, all had to do was replace the Omnibar MAP sensor. give that a try. you'll need backups anyway if you dont have one yet

Car was tuned in May, I have NOT done a leak test yet. Haven't checked the sparkplugs yet either which I'm going to do today. You think a Vac leak would make it idle rich?

just replaced it 3 weeks ago due to it taking a complete dump and only driven the car a handful of times since. I did buy a spare too. Worth a shot to see if it's causing some random issues. Once I get retuned again I'm definitely going AEM

Have you cleaned or flow tested your injectors? all my driveability issues are always related to my id2000s needing to be cleaned

It's probably dancing on the edge of closed/open loop at idle. Tuner needs to make a small change. A small issue like this is not likely to be the map sensor.

They were cleaned and tested last time it was tuned.

It's weird that it hasn't done it until about a month ago since it's been tuned but I'll check the threshold for closed and open loop

Could it be an ignition issue also? I get the AFRs going rich but the ignition scramble is throwing me off

also check your idle stepper table thinger. I've had one with weird entries that were copy-pasted by the tuner. I restored it to stock and it fixed my idle and AC issues (i mean good enough for the time being)

Aem Infinity? If you're ready for it, do it? My beloved friend convinced me to get the Infinity, because I wanted to run e85 & hoping the idling craziness of the Evos would go away.

Well, he street tuned it & my Evo was idling like stock, 1700 ID. Crazy part about life, he passed away of covid before we got to dyno tune on e85. Ended up remote tuning on e85 but still have rough cold starts.
