Sun and Sound or NO?
Sun and Sound or NO?
Basically, I'm just curious whether people would choose the Sun and Sound package (leather seats, sunroof, and upgraded infinity audio [for $+2,550]) or just the basic Evolution 8?
Please no flaming or disputes. It's just a simple question along with your opinion.
Thanks!

It all depends on what you want to do with the car. If you track the car, then I would definitely NOT go for it:
(1) I'm 6'1" and I prefer a proper, upright driving position. I find the sunroof cuts into your headroom too much. When wearing a helmet my head almost touches the ceiling as it is. If I had the sunroof I'd end up having to lean the seatback too much. Plus, the sunroof adds weight to the top of the car and reduces rigidity. So no sunroof.
(2) Leather seats look nice, but you're more likely to slide around when cornering really hard. Plus, they get too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. So no leather.
So, I wouldn't go for it if you think you might get hooked on driver's schools and other track events. But for the street that stuff is cool.

everyone calls the current recaro's cloth seats... does anyone remember the RX7's R1 model's with suede seats?? The sides of these seats remind me of suede while the center is cloth. If you compair the nasty door panels cloth to the sides of our seads you can tell its not the same material
