Stock '04 vs. '03 Evo dynos?
Stock '04 vs. '03 Evo dynos?
Has anyone actually dynoed a stock '04 to see if there was even a slight difference in power compared to an '03? I know the engine is supposed to be the exact same until the '05 model when its rated at a slightly higher hp. However, I've noticed that cars sometimes gain 5-10 hp from very minor tweaks between model years (from the factory).
For instance, newer RSX type S's often dyno about 6-10 hp more than 2002 RSX's, even though the engines are still rated at 200hp and there aren't any significant changes to the engine's design.
So has anyone dynoed a stock '04 yet? If so, could you please tell us your numbers and/or post your results? Thanks.

With the car-to-car variances seen in the Evo's, no head-to-head test would be conclusive. IMO, you just buy an Evo, hope you got one of the stonger engines and break it in properly (read: no beating on the car during the break in period).
