guy on dealer told me if i buy an evo to get auto timer that is a most have for the evo owner..

 

you don't HAVE to, but it sure would be nice. i hate getting somewhere and sitting in my car for a minute to let the turbo spool down. it'd be so much nicer to get somewhere and let the engine shut itself off after a minute while i go inside.

 

Do a search there is like a 4 or 5 page post about this.

 

if you cant spare two minutes to let the turbo cool down when you get somewhere, you weren't driving fast enough!

not necessary, but its cheap and useful....

 

if u have no self control to go easy the last 1 mile and sit in the car to wait for 30 seconds, then yeah go get a timer.

 

i thought a turbo timer wasn't necessary, but after making lots of trips, i think i should really get one. i hate sitting in the car while the rest of my friends get out of my car and leave w/o me.
esp. the gas station, people get impatient when they're waiting behind me when i just sit in my car for half a minute or so.
if you're impatient, then i guess a turbo timer will be nice to have. if you're an evo enthusiast, i guess you should stay with your baby and let her cool down a little and appreciate her.
