Help! Question about Turbo Timer Install....

Hey guys,

I'm putting in a HKS turbo timer right now. I've connected the harnesses and have the center console off. I got some wire taps to splice into the parking wire. Should I be worried about a short? Should I get a fuse to be safe or is it okay to just tap into it? Thanks!

Fred

for the parking wire? I don't think that's for ground. doesn't that allow the timer to shut off when the e-brake is off?

don't worry about the fuse. that wire is actually a saftey feature. when the car is running, and someone releases the ebrake without a key, the car will shut off.
