Best Short Shifter To Install Yourself

SO GUYS WHAT SHORT SHIFTER IS THE BEST TO INSTALL YOURSELF?

I have seen the B&M (adjustable or not adjustable), Kartboy, and the Lancershop one... Cost wise the lancer shop oune looks nice... What does everyone else think? And how easy is this to install?

People with pictures that would be great.. Oh, and does this void the warranty?

Since the B&M Subject came up. How come the B&M Web site does not have any information about the B&M adustable shiffter for EVO 8, the latest one is for EVO 7. But several shops sells it as for an EVO 8. Anybody knows why ??

By the WAY, B&M is out of stock from lancershop, they told me it will need at least a week to come in. Dont get too excited.

I installed the B&M in mine and it was pretty easy. I would say you can have it installed in about 30 minutes if you're taking your time.

The only issue with the B&M is that there is a stock plastic piece that you need that is connected to the stock shifter to complete the install. I believe that Lancershop sells the piece. I went ahead and put the stock shifter in a vice and hammered the ball on the stock shifter off so I could get at the stock plastic piece.

Just get the Megan racing shifter. It's short, it's strong, it's 30 bucks. Mine has been working great since day one. No grinds due to the shifter. Easy to install. Anything else is just overpriced. Now, would I buy Megan racing springs? No way.

Megan Racing???? I heard that their products are not good at all... The quality will not last...

The Lacer shop and the Kart Boy ones interest me...

I saw megan's shifter knob, dunno about the shifter, and it looked identical to my LS shop version's - only cheaper 30 vs. 109.

But w/ LS you also get mounting metal bolts, clutch line metal bolts + mitsu boots.

I luv the shifting action, don't grind anymore. Metal shifting knob is pretty and functional. Cant go wrong for 109 bucks and 1 hr of install!

It's just a stick of metal dude. Seriously, like I said, I would not buy their springs but this is just a shifter. Have you seen the shifter? It's a piece of damn metal. Don't pay a lot for a piece of metal!

I just reused my stock knob.
