EVO RS Sound Deadening, Power Locks..?

I just bought the Evo RS and also test drove the VIII, but was unable to tell the difference in the interior sound.
Did anyone notice difference or should I say a significant difference? If so then what was your experience?

Where in the VIII is the sound deadening material? What kind of matrial is it? Where and how can I get sound deadening done to my RS? Thanks

Also are all FOUR speakers pre-wired for speakers?

How much would it cost to get power locks? Is the car wired for that? How much effort?

How about power mirrors and windows - how much cost? Is the car wired for that? How much effort?

Your thoughts/ responses will be appreciated.

isnt that point of having an RS?

i dont even think its pre-wired for that, thats not what the car is all about. its all about weight reduction, if you go back in and add those things it will defeat the purpose of being an RS. wow and i thought i had read it all!!

Look in the trunk for starters. In the RS there is no trunk lining like the regular Evo has.

Speakers and radio on the RS are pre-wired.

No sure on the mirrors or windows or door locks. Any Lancer could supply these components.

Does the trunk lining reduce sound by how much? Is there sound deadening material between the engine compartment and the cabin? I found the following material and not sure how much difference this will make... maybe I need to suck it up and get used to the sound...

As far as the power stuff, I just would like to add power locks, if not a pain...

Why not just buy an 8 instead of the RS?

or the urban jungle package... I think it is kind of expensive to do, all that wiring for the power windows and doors and running it back to the fuses... new door panels, etc. If you found a wrecked lancer, maybe you'd have some luck. It's one of those things that is cheap to buy on a new car but expensive to retrofit... like cruise control but worse.

There is no urban jungle package, that was 'vaporware'. All usdm Evo's come with a/c.

Someone on the board did do a lancer window motor refit, but i think it ended up taking so much time that a an aftermarket kit (lots 'o $$$) would have been much more practical.
