...also, once you start getting into the more powerful Evos, IMHO straight-line speed should be measured on a 1 mile track instead of just 1/4 mile, esp. since a 1 mile run could still be used to capture 0-60, 1/4 mile and other stats.
...and FWIW, my Evo is the fastest in the world, since I can go from 0 -
in less time than it takes me to hit the gas...

on NO Nitrous, FULL WEIGHT plus some with 625 whp we have gone 10.63@134.5...and lots of room to go and we don't have one jun part on the car...not one. so you logic isnt very logical.

I know the EVO wasn't built for 1/4 times...but I think it's cool to see an AWD 4 door blazing down a dragstrip kickin ***

Thats Zohab Razeks EVO 3 (R1P U UP) he's running an EVO 8 engine that has been Spun round 180 degrees (better weight distribution) so it has the Turbo and Exhaust running out the passenger side as you can see in the pictures and has full tube frame front end (that you an also see in the pictures lol). Cut to the chase, it puts out over 800awhp and runs high 8 second passes with lower ET's very possible(very new set-up, needs more testing etc etc).He ran a 9.24@154mph NO-NOS earlier this year on very first outing with new set-up and has broken into the eights recently...and also theres Andre Simons Speedtech EVO 3 (DOCILE) thats going to make his 2004 drag season debut very soon after a major rebuild (running similar set-up to R1P U UP except he's using an EVO 3 engine) deffinatly should be running 8's as well. Oh and kamokazi, the shop R1P U UP is from is Edgell Automotive. The two cars are very keen to claim the title of worlds fastest EVO
