Hello Borla Vendors --- I'm looking for a good deal on the Borla Cat-Back System for the EVO.... Who has the best deal shipped? (note I have done my home work and prices range from $509 shipped to $610 shipped...)

Anyone looking to sell one off for a good price?

 

I'm looking too! I had found NOPI listing them for $488 ($512 shipped!) and began the order process on Sunday afternoon. I went out for supper with the wife, attempted to finish the order process after we returned, rec'd an error saying my shopping session had expired, and when I went back in on the NOPI web site to begin the order process again the price had changed up to $538. Just my luck. NOPI claimed the last one at $488 had been purchased before I finished my order.

If I can find it at the $500 - $520 price shipped, I'm biting...

 

I dunno if that still applies, but on the NOPI website right now it still says special price of $488.00...Why wouldn't they honor that? Just letting you guys know...

Your use of the phrase "special price" rang a bell, so instead of going into their catalog via the normal drill-downs, I ended up clicking on the "Special Sale Items for your model" link. Sure enough, it has the lower price listed. I just placed the order using it and it gave me the lower price. Hopefully, they will honor it and won't call me on emailing me yesterday and explaining the pricing change.

 

Thanks for the heads up... I was having with some of the local vedors telling me that it was one price and then changing the price the next day when I went back.... I will check out NOPI....

 

Good news - it looks like NOPI put those charges on my credit card account, so it would appear that the order took. Hmm, unless they don't ship the Borla and just keep the charges on the card....

That would teach me for trying to weasel the system.

 

Got my Borla exhaust yesterday from NOPI. As a bonus, it arrived while the wife was out running errands, so I was able to enjoy its arrival without the usual mumbling and grumbling!

 

how is the borla exhaust? im sure the fit and finish is top notch but how are the performance and sound?

 

I'm still checking my options for a high-flow cat, figuring I might as well do one when I'm doing the other. Not sure if I'll put it on now or wait til Spring since I drive the car year round.

I went to a shop near the house this weekend and they quoted $989 for this cat back unless Borla has another cat-back available....

 

Borla only has 1 for the Evo as far as their web page shows. Damn, even Borla asks only $638.99 for it, with resellers discounting it below that.

That isn't Canadian dollars, is it?
