Note the specs. The car uses 1.3l and 1.5l MIVEC DOHC engines.
It looks like
is reviving the MIVEC line. Judging from the output though, it does not look like they made any major improvements to the mechanical timing components... still seems to be just a straightforward 2 stage system...
Anyone have any more info or details?

Yeah, you're right shaft. The '03 Corolla made me do an Exorcist double-take on the freeway, yesterday. D@mn near snapped my head right off. The Colt actually does have some pros in the style category. If it looks like a Vanoe, PRVRTOZ, it's because Daimler Chrysler is driving design engineering to fit the mid end of the same market niche.
