What's your stock EVO 1/4 mile time?

I'm curious to hear about the average or standard 1/4 mile times and trap speeds for the EVO 8. I want to hear or find out about stock EVOs, no mods please, no filters, MBCs, flashes, exhausts or any modification. We are talking about out-of-the-box EVOs.
I know that there are some fast cars out there and many ppl have written to report their great 1/4 mile times. I also know that some ppl are writing about "estimated" times, or "unofficial" times or "G-tech" times, etc. I don't want to hear about those, only time slip proven 1/4 mile times for 100% stock EVOs

My best run stock was 13.3 at 104 mph.

13.6@100 with 2400 miles on the engine  :D

13.29 @ 103mph but can't duplicate it. best 2nd place is 13.55 @ 101mph. guess I had a good launch that day.

Many stock Evo's with 91 octane gas range from 14.XX to 13.XX (mostly high) and most don't even hit 100mph usually 95-99mph.
If you don't know how to launch and shift fast, you'll be seeing lots of 14.XX Sec.

Now if you are lucky and have 93 octane where you live, your times should be in the 13.XX with a good launch. But your clutch will wear out alot faster with too many launches.

Just to give an example, an Evo MR from 5-60mhp takes 6.3 sec.; while from a good launch, it only takes 4.8 sec. with 13.6 1/4 mile (Car and Driver Feb.2005).
So, this would mean if you don't launch and roll start, your time will be around high 14.XX to low 15.XX sec. :(

There are lot of guys with some mods doing mid 13 sec. with 91 octane gas. And some who does better usually wore out the clutch and/or broke the TC case. So, be careful when launching the car. It's not a tank (better to mod to get good 1/4 mile times than relying on 6K RPM launches).IMO

Yup 91 octane does suck, but mid 13s can be achieved with 91 octane. If you have a slow track and 91 octane, then expect high 13s to low 14s, for even the best drivers. This is tough, because it all depends on where you live, in southern cali at Fontana, stock EVOs on most occasions will see high 13s (slow track/91 octane), but then again so do stock LS1s and etc... But some east coast tracks, EVOs run low to mid 13s stock (fast track/93 octane). So it just all depends. Here are some examples (this isn't exact math, just a trend I'm seeing from these places)-

New Jersey- Low to Mid 13s (Good Driver)
Southern California- High 13s to Low 14s (Good Driver)
Northern California- Mid to High 13s (Good Driver)
Maryland- Low to Mid 13s (Good Driver)
Hawaii- High 13s to Low 14s (Good Drive)
Denver- Haha forget about it
Midwest- Mid to High 13s (Good Driver)

This is more realistic than thinking one's EVO is defective because it wont run low 13's at well over 100 mph..... I'm not sure, but I think the low to mid 14.xx's are more representative times and the sub 100 mph are more representative traps than the low 13's posted by some of the ppl in this forum. Also, the driver can make a huge difference in the times. Launching the AWD EVO is not the easiest thing to do well......

13.7/100.5

To say that low to mid 14s is representive of the EVO is just as bad as saying low 13s is a representive of stock EVO times. Like I said earlier it all depends on where you are from, maybe low to mid 14s is the best you could hope to achieve in an EVO at a slow track, but at a faster track you could see better times. Doesn't even have to be from state to state, could all be in the same geographic region, take for example S. California, Carlsbad (RIP)- was perhaps the fastest of the drag strips, then you drive to Fontana with it's head wind and slippery track and you will get slower times, then make your way up to LACR at 2700ft elevation your praying for high 13s to low 14s. Like I said it depends on where you go. I believe in the right conditions, on the right track, the EVO is a low 13 second car. On the other hand, in the wrong track in unfavorable conditions the EVO can be a high 13s/low 14s car. In most cases the EVO is a 13 second car, if all you can hit is mid 14s, then I suggest you stop blaming the car and start to take a hard look at yourself.

I ran a 12.93, trapped at just over 100mph bone stock.. I later discovered I had a defective boost control solenoid when I put a boost gauge on the car.. I think there's a few cars out there who have made some 12 second timeslips, but its definitely not representative of the car. I'd be fairly certain that those sub 13 second cars also had a defective BCS.

I did three runs that day, 2 were low 13's one was a 12.93 an was never able to get another 12 second run until I started modifying the car.

Hmmmm.... Why take what I write so personally? That last statement is particularly hostile ;) ....... I'm not blaming anything or anyone, I'm just posting what I've seen and experienced. BTW, I had a supercharged Integra GSR and I routinely got 14.00 at 99.xx mph in the same dragstrip. As everyone knows, the FWD without even a limited slip diff or drag slicks is severely handicapped yet it performed better than the stock EVO or WRX I also had.
BTW, I managed to get a 13 flat at 106 after a boat load of mods but only 259 whp output. I'm going to see what the power output of my new EVO is and then I can extrapolate the projected 1/4 mile times and trap speeds.
There is no need to put me down for having driven a slow EVO..... This is exactly what I'm trying to clarify. I do believe that the low 13's are not representative of stock EVOs. Or at least, not representative of EVOs with the power characteristics of the ones I'm most familiar with.

13.02 @ 106 is the only slip i can find... i know i hit 12's, but can't find the slip :/

Glad I saw this thread cause I was all upset that I could only crack a 14.03 with trying to be somewhat carefull on the stock clutch, But Im in cali running on the pisswater so It all just made sense to me.

Sorry didn't mean to sound so hostile, and the last comment wasn't meant for you, it was in general.
