reflashed ecu's for the evo 8?
 

i am very interested in reflashing my ecu for my 03 evo 8 and i was wondering which company has the best program? i was thinking either buschur, dynoflashe, or turbotrix. i need some input. i was also wondering if after i get my ecu flashed, is it safe to run a manual boost controler or do i need other upgrades like a 255 walbro fuel pump. so post some sugestions. thanks and i would like to here from david buschur about there ecu.

Call the above shops you listed and ask them what you need. This has been discussed ENDLESSLY on this forum, so try a search.

I will jab you a little advice though, go with the vishnu flash. And you won't need a fuel pump untill you mod your car some more. I would buy ATLEAST a turboback exhaust before i started messing with a flash and boost controller though.

Dynoflash.........especially since you are from NY

wow u guys really got me in a rut. so its either dynoflash or turbotrix. i want around or close to 300 whp with a flash a turbo back exhaust an intake and a divertervalve. i have the other 3 on my car right now and she pulls really hard but now its time to but the boost and make sure it holds. so i need a fuel pump with the dynoflash huh? that sounds resonable but what kind of numbers do people run with the mods i have listed above? please help me out.

im sorry i read that wrong. i do not need a fuel pump with the dynoflash. but what else does the modified ecu do other then boost?

You dont need a fuel pump without cams, but why not do it. Its 100 dollars and its something your going to need eventually. If you get a flash without a pump then do mods a later date you would need another flash. IMHO .. do the pump...

I have intake, full exhaust, MBC set at 20.5psi, and Dynoflash. Dynoed at 275hp and 306ft-lb.

Dynoflash all the way.

if you have the turboback the numbers seem kinda low. you should be more around 290whp easily with those mods

i currently have a full 3 inch buschur turbo back exhaust, an aem intake and a forge diverter valve. i fell like i can pull an easy 245whp with these mods. easyily. i was on the turbotrix website and i see no prices for flash? what do u guys charge for the flash and a fuel pump? i wanted to pull 300whp without doing any cams or internals or a turbo kit yet. so please fill me in because im new at this mitsubish stuff. my last car was a 2000 golf 1.8t which i had about 240whp and that thing pulled like a sob at around 60mph. it was crazy fast top end.so i am new at the jap stuff but i figured i would make this car faster than my golf so keep up the sugestions.
