Idle drops after appling a load and not completely letting out the clutch injen intak

I have an injen intake and have the car flashed for the intake. DOes anyone else have this problem it happens when i first let out the clutch but then press it back in. The rpms will drop to say 500 then the ecu revcovers it to 900. Is the intake causing this. Thats my only mod, or could it be something such as the stock bov?

Im using the same intake with no problems before or after my flash.... what other mods are you running?

BoostWhore Apr 15, 2005 05:10 PM

no other mods just the intake. with a flash.

I am running the same set up with SSQV VTA. My car runs fine. Check your hoses. There may be a leak.

bov leaking, or v.t.a. or the flash.. i doubt it though..

BoostWhore Apr 15, 2005 05:53 PM

It did it before the flash if i remember. Stock Bov and its recirculating. SO it could possibly be the bov leaking. My intake pipe and ic pipe appear to be on well and the clamps are tight.

Check your vaccumm lines.. Who did your flash?

It's the damn intake, do a search there are dozens of threads about the idle condition and most intakes.
