Downforce and wingless EVO's
 

I don't plan on making any three digit highway passes on a daily basis however I would like to buy an 04 RS or an V/// and go wingless. I like the look, less attention but I was wondering the difference in feel at higher speeds, 90+ mph? I hear the wing does indeed help alot but I'd like a perspective from both, you can't own an EVO and resist opening it up every now and then.

yes there definitely is a big difference.

at the high speeds u can for sure feel it but any other time i never noticed anything and at high speeds it wasnt like i couldnt control the car u can just feel it more sloppy changing lanes etc... i love the way it looks without one

I did 120+ mph just few days ago. It was soild even with windows down. No need for wings for daily driver.

i had the wing off the car for a week or so.i couldn't tell anything at high speed going in a straight line,but at high speeds turning,i could tell a little bit was different w/o the wing

BIG Diffence when hitting bumps at high speed without wing backwheels would hop like shyt with wing it would STICK!
