272's installed boost went down
 

I have noticed that my boost has gone down since I installed my 272's is this correct? I was peaking in the high 23's now in the mid 22's also was holding 20ish to redline now i am only holding 18-19.... Should I crank it up a notch?

Boost is gonna go down because the higher lift intake cam decreases vacuum pressure. I would recommend getting a tune before turning up the boost.

the longer you keep the valves open, the more boost that goes into the cylinders, the less pressure is measured in the intake manifold. Thus a lower reading. Make sence?? Cranking it up with out logging AFR and knock could be risky. I would advise you tune it.

264's dropped my stock boost to 13psi.

would reflashing the ECU fix the idle that the 272s give the car? Or it wont help?

A reflash will help, and also the use of adjustable cam gears.......both will give u a stock like idle.

I might just invest in a Wideband and tune it myself.
