just one question, does electronic tilt still work after you do that? so like if i had it at "0" and adjusted it, would it go higher if i moved it to "4" or would the electronic tilt not work anymore?

Headlight adjustment will still work from the cabin. Here's a picture that may help:

ok, i think i see the drivers side one, its like a double sided gear, and the 10mm socket is suppose to go like on the center and turn. but the passenger side i see where they want me to put the driver but its blocked by like a metal thing. and do i HAVE to use a 10mm socket? or do both of them adjust with just a driver?

i have the same problem...i think its because my car is lowered? Is yor car lowered? I have the in cabin knob adjusted all the way up and its still to low:(

I just checked the service manual, and it's of very little help as far as adjusting the headlights. I checked to see if there were any specific instructions for the right-hand side, but that picture I posted up is just about all they have telling you where to perform the adjustment.

rofl. sad to say this but i had no idea we could adjust the HIDs...

10mm socket stick it on the gear on the outtersides of the headlights works perfect, and the electronic adjustment still works

SilverStreak Jun 18, 2005 07:39 PM

I made this adjustment on mine. It was extremely simple and it made a huge difference. My car is lowered 2" in the front, so you can imagine how much pavement I was looking at. I made my adjustments using the 10mm socket wrench. It took quite some tweaking to assure they are even with eachother, especially if you're a perfectionist like me. I lined the car up to a wall, and made my adjustments matching the beams on the wall. Let me know if you have any questions. I think it took a whopping 15 minutes to complete.

*Make sure you have the headlights off when making the adjustments. It's said to make your headlight motors freak if the lights are on.

lets face it evo lights suck!
easy way around this is to black out your headlights, take out the fog beam diffuser and increase the rating of the hid bulbs & fog light bulbs.
get all done at once so you can be done with it and not have to remove the bumper again!
atleast that whats i am going to do

SilverStreak Jun 18, 2005 08:27 PM

^Actually...once you've made this adjustment, your high beams will be obsolete. I can't even notice a difference when I have my HB's on. The only upgrade I made was to the fog light bulb, which still points low, as it should. This is such a simple adjustment and it really makes a difference.

onesicklambo...I returned your PM.
