install price for 272's.....too much?
just called a shop that is 2 1/2 hours away from here that works solely on wrx's
and evo's. they want $480 to install my 272's (cams that is). let me know what ya'll think. too much or sound about right? |
That price is insane. Check out the diy on evom. I would check out Dyno4mance in GA or maybe some of local evo members can give you a hand.
I would also get some head studs and a fuel pump. |
250 should be around average.
|
You think that is bad I was quoted $1050 by a local shop to do cams and head stud install.{thumbdwn}

i believe pruven charges 400 which is insane to me but I mean its the only shop I would trust to do it so you gotta take what you can get as long as its not TOO unreasonable
