MSRP increase with 05 EVO MR's ?

Hi,

I just came across a pic of a sticker for a silver 05 MR being sold in TX and noticed the price increase of the orginal MSRP of $500. $35,499.00 to my sticker of $34,999. I didn't know that they raised the price somewhere along the line.
That being said, I ended up paying $500 more than what my sticker said because I didn't check the sticker the day I bought the car. They had already taken it off the car and put it in the glove box :crap: I just assumed that all 05 MR's were MSRP'ed at $36,094. Is there some kind of law that says they must display the sticker on the window of a new car?

They raised the prices of EVO VIII by $500 sometime in the fall of 2004, my EVO was MSRP for $36094 while the Silver MR was $35594. But of course I bought my GG MR for $500 above invoice for the older price.

Ok that is BS cuz where I live they have a white non MR with SSL for 35,995. I think Cincinnati is gettin screwed royally lol

I don't know about Cinci gettin screwed royally as you put it :D , but I bought my car up in MI and I thought if they charge over MSRP(asking for a premium) like a lot of dealers are doing now with the few remaining MR's then they have to post something next to the sticker or something. I can't see were any dealership in the import hot spot of Ohio would mark up any EVO's :lol: This is GM country {thumbdwn}

Maywood Mitsubishi in NJ had an MR for 38,000!

I got a steal and picked mine up from the show room for $33,000 :D

Yeah, I posted this same topic In November 2004, that means that the raised the price shortly after they start selling them. I was lucky to get mine in October 04.
I still think the MR is worth its value.

The MR in Dallas is going for $39K also. They marked it up $3K. It's at the Lewisville Mitsubishi.

Make no mistake about it, I also feel the MR is worth it's value. {thumbup}
It does make me feel better to know at least I didn't have to pay well over sticker like the $38,000 or so some stealers I mean dealers are charging these days.
And hey, I also saved a crap load of money with the 0% for 60. I know in a couple of weeks when I get done with a DE up at Mid-Ohio I will just be smiling for ear to ear :cool:

I went on their web site and saw that they have the one MR mentioned and maybe a WW one as well, plus a couple of EVO GSR's. I wonder if they are marking those up as well.

I called them and all they have is the Silver MR. They have several regular EVO's as well. They're not willing to budge on the MR price either.

Well I do not about cheaper! I know that the MSRP is going up by about $500 from the 05's. There are probably still some 05's MR's out there for MSRP ;)
