Okay so we know that OEM HID's are not plug n play on a non SSL but...
 

has anyone actually spliced the wires and hard wired oem hid's in a non hid car?

I wish that it was plug and play. I have Helios 6000k aftermarket HIDs in my '05 and I don't really care for the pattern at all. I'm thinking about going back to stock bulbs but would love factory HIDs.

Well yea we all wish it was plug n play but the question is has anyone HARD wired the oem hid's in a non SSL car?

SSL = Sun Sound and Leather package.

There is a norcalevo.net member, unowned, who has done it on his 05 EB GSR. He has not wired up the foglights yet though. I'm not sure if he's a member on this site also?

k thanks for the info. so SSL is that 4k extra package right? ok I think I saw someone with HID without SSL in local .... let me go find out first so I can post a how... thanks again
