Why I am glad I didn't wait for the EVO IX

The biggest thing that I have noticed is a lot of defects and problems with the 03-04 EVO's that have been addressed and resolved with the 05. It would seem it really is not the best thing to buy the first year of a model change. Next would be paying below sticker and not above. Lastly 0% financing and all this means I will never be upside down on this beast. {thumbup}

next yr is E 10 ,
probably will have even more problems

Gald to see you got an 05. But dont forget the Evo 9 is more like an 8.5. Not a huge change over, but there will be some differences. I personally do not think that there will be many issues with the 9, but only time will tell.

I would imagine there is less than a 1% change from '05 to '06.

Keep telling yourself that, pal :)

Well, you didn't get to drive an EVO from 2003-2005. :cool: Is there a price on that?

Lol i think this is my first post since i started college.

To each their own. I'm still waiting on the EvoIX. ^.^

i think the only problem w/ the 9 is that aftermarkett EMS systems will have to be designed to adapt to the MIVEC...otherwise i would say 9 all the way!!! also the MR is more like a 8.5, the 9 is its own.

Every thing you said would be recurring again when you buy the IX right before the X comes out. But if it makes you feel better about your purchase. Go right ahead.
