What's my car really worth $

Its time to let the EVO go! I am about to order a car and will need to sell my EVO in the next 60 days or so. It is a 2003 with roof, wing. Only mods are K&N drop in, mail in dynoflash, and a 3'buscher turbo back with high flow cat and the Magnaflow. The car is perfect, no dents, scratches or mechanical problems. It has 45000 miles.

The blue book value is: $ 22,000

I am not sure I can sell it for that much. What are other people getting for theirs?

Thanks,

Fred

P.S.: I also have a 3-month-old set of MB mortorsports with Komho summer tires on it. Tires have about 2500 miles on them.

is $19500 realistic?

19.5 is realistic..

There was one 03' Stock Evo with 67k miles on it for 23995 on autotrader last week and friend of mine called on Monday owner said its been sold(not sure how much through).....
so I guess $19k is a good price ..but if you ask me.. I did say start asking for 23k then drop a little by little ... might ended up $21k ... good luck !

just sold my 03 w. 34k miles and about 2k in mods..for 23k...which is a good deal for the buyer...hope that helps..

you should be able to get at least 21k

DO NOT use blue book. Use NADA. NADA is what the bank uses, kelly blue book's inflated prices are what the dealer uses. Which one do you think matters more?

Thanks to all that wrote here.!!!!

TD05HR:

that is encouraging, I have more miles, howerver that car is like new, inside and out. How long did it take you to sell it?

thanks,

C'mon guys.....recently people have been buying brand-new VIIIs off the lot for (well) under invoice and 0% finance.

Anyone paying over 20k for a 2003 VIII with 45k miles needs his head examining. It probably only cost $29k new, right?

I'm not saying you won't actually be able to sell it for that, I'm questioning the mental state of someone who would pay that.

why you gettin rid of it? and what you replacin it with?

Not everyone can get 0% ... so I'd say a good alternative is to buy a used '03.

I am ordering a 06 M3.

I agree, it is going to be difficult to sell, Maybe to money I put into will and tires plus the original set of wheels and the exhaust will help me sell it faster than a completely stock car.
