What kind of tires do you have on?

Don't know. Living in Colorado, and we've not had any snow yet. :(

Bring it on!

snow tires are good in snow/ice/low temps

summer tires are great in summer dry/wet/hi temps

all seasons suck all around...in all seasons.

Just my opinion. I realize swapping tires/wheels and storing them is a PITA for those in more moderate climates, but if you can, its the only way to go.

I drove my evo through the snow with the Advans on and it was the most stable car I've ever felt in the snow.

I guess the question is... were you driving like a maniac on crappy tires in the wet or something? Just because you're driving an evo doesn't mean you don't have to change your driving habits to suit the conditions.

I had snow this Morning. What a great car to drive in the mush. This was my first experience with this car in the winter, all I can say is wow. Best handling vehicle I have driven when slick. This includes my Suburban. I am running Continetal Extreme Contact All Season tire. my .02 cents. :D

mine is looking pretty good backed into the garage. nice and salt free.

my $200 corolla winter terror is loving the snow. although i do hate how people forget to drive the instant they first see snow. its not like it doesnt snow every 6 months in michigan.

Such a shame. These cars are a dream in snow with the right tire. Makes average me feel like a rally stud ... and at the speed limit at well!

It wont be a shame in 5 years when the bottom of my Evo is still salt free.....

Honestly Id love to drive my Evo in the winter, but I plan on keeping it as a stress reliever for many years to come, so in the garage it will stay during snow season. Besides I just picked up a 95 Integra GS-R thats all sorts of fun in the snow.....

Aaaaahh.... Really? Ya. I made it through a winter on Advans without crashing too... but it was nerve wracking and totally not a good idea.

I hear ya... I wash as much of the salt off as I can and replace ICs and radiators as they dissolve. Bottom line is, it's a :mitsu: not a Ferrari. They will make more and If I could afford a car for all occasions I' still want a rally car for the winter.
