Most of you won't remember me, but I previously owned an Evo 8 GSR, which I had sold for a BMW.

Yesterday I sold my 1988 E28 M5 for a 2006 Evo 9 MR.

OMG how I have missed the Evo....

The M5 was tons of fun in itself, but with the lack of good gas mileage and power, wasn't enough to stay my buying hand.

Comparing the 06 to the 05, significant difference. With the edge going to the 06. I can't believe how these Bilsteins feel.

should of kept them both i wouldnt get ride of my 03 M3 for nothing well maybe the 07 M3 :) , my evo is fast from light to light but my M3 is Fast to 180 and keeps it there.

I'm not an old school bimmer kind of guy. I'm an Evo guy.

That thing wasn't that fast anyway. It uses the Bosch Motronic engine management with a potentiometer for air metering.

I liked it because I followed the series... and Charlize Theron kicking ass in a skin tight suit is always nice. But some people didn't like the movie.

I seem to remember my bimmers geared out about 165 or so...bout like the Evo.
