9 with HID's

Ok I know use the search button, and I have but have not come up with anything.
Question is, I am just about ready to order a 9. My problem is that I want HID's but I don't want to pay 3k more and get leather and a sunroof. So if I was to buy the factory HID headlamps will they plug into the stock harness at the headlamp assembly. Also are the ignitors and ballists made into the lamps?
On a VW I know they will not, but I was told the Jap's use the same wiring harness in all there cars. Example, RS and MR have the same body harness
I don't want after market xeon, I am just looking for the factory look, and eas of install.

Just last night i was filling gas at mobil... there was like 3 cars out on the road ahead of me... i turn the car on, lights lite up... everyone starts staring... the light turns green... they STILL keep staring and until some1 almost ran into them honking thier horn. Im not sure if the MR has diffrent lights, but the stock ones on my car im very pleased with, and are def. HID hardcore purple/blue stock. Thier just sick compared to the White HID's i had on my IS300.

^^^ Yeah. I'd like to see those. The light from my HID's on my IX are very neutral white for an HID bulb. The actual projector looks colored though.

My 6k bulbs i had in my A4 before buying this car were very blue.

Does anyone know the 'k rating of the stock HID bulbs in our cars?

Whenever people try to identify any ethnic group theres always somebody out there to point a finger.
