Lancer's long waited arrival!
 

I sent a letter to someone who recieves information daily on the EVO VII. This is what he told me WORD FOR WORD:

>There is a version of the Evo VII comming to the USA July of next year. The car that is comming over is going to have less than 240 hp no active yaw control no active center differential. These are the two main components that make up the Evo VII. There is also no front mounted interecooler, and the chasis has far less regidity than our Evo VII. We are selling four of our Evo VII for 36,000 if you are interested give us a call at 407-688-1324. These wont last long.

You can e-mail this guy at the e-mail listed below, but please add a few of your oppinions to tell me weather this information should be taken accurate or its just a fallacy!

I find it funny how the info came from Evolution Imports.....the company who's tryin to sell us Evo's right now. I think it was probably jst an attempt to persuade you to buy an Evo from them. ;)

I sent the guy another e-mial asking him to explain how he is certain, I shall post up the reply WORD FOR WORD when he sends it to me! I hopw that this is a fallacy, because my cousin also has a forum, but for Subaru Impreza WRX. He talks to the main associates of the company, and they have told him that they HAVE decreased the Lancers horsepower by 276 to 270. They are still planning to make some major changes, BUT, I have alos heard from my cousin that Mitsubishi will try anything and everything to find a way to knock the WRX STi out of it's league. So far, everything being done to the Lancer's horsepower, is also being done to the STi, because they are almost identical to each others capabilities. So, keep your fingers crossed, hopefully this info is not correct!

I'm sick of this BS from Evolution Imports. :mad: I hope they are paying Mark well enough for advertising on this site, because if they aren't, what good are they? Also for those who bought cars from EI, I hope you don't get shafted in the end from them and their shady business practices.

I'm incredibly confused by EI. They seem like they're a valid business, then they don't return any e-mails. Then they start selling like mad, then they give false specs. :mad:
