Evos already in the 8's???
 

I thought AMS had the fastest Evo and there was no Evos that had reached 8's in the quarter mile. :confused:

I was jus commenting on youtube about how fast the AMS evo and there is no other evo like it. Some dude said there were faster Evos and i didnt believe him. So he send me this link and its drag racing in New Zealand. The evos do low 8's. I dont kno but seems interesting.

Man, where have you been? Yes, there are faster Evos, but we are only interested in USDM Evos, specifically 8s and 9s. Buschur already went 8.95 - they were the first to hit 8s. AMS just hits 8.97 today.

I just thought "Evo in the 8s" meant the Evo VIII...

BTW, most of the NZ and other Evos that are running SUPER fast times are older Evos that have been tinkered with for years and years, like the DSMs here in the USA. Like Evo 2s and 3s... The speed (pun intended) that Buschur and AMS have reached the 8s with a newer (for US) setup is awesome. {thumbup}

about that new zealand guy .. im sure he ment past generation evos hit 8s ...
but not the Evo VIII nor IX ..

Who are you correcting? No one gave an ET and MPH in this entire thread. I gave 2 ETs without MPH, and at the time of my posting, both were accurate. I hope you didn't correct someone later in a thread in regards to something that happened AFTER the reply was posted...
