Rear bumper different color on WW IX's??

My rear bumper seems to not be as "bright" as the rest of the car. I noticed it soon after I brought the car home but never bothered posting about it.
Straight on from the side or close to the car, it's not as noticeable but from up on my porch looking down at an angle from 30-ish ft away, it's pretty clear.
Is my back bumper weightless white and the rest wicked???
The car only had 4 mi on it when I drove it off the lot so I don't think it was replaced...

I have noticed that the rear bumper gets dirty very fast.

Exhaust and dust collect on it.

Make sure it is clean and then compare again.

i think its normal cuz due to different materials(not talking about the paint but the sheet metal of the quarter panel and the poly bumper). I have seen alot of new cars are like that too, even my gg mr when i brought it new.

:mitsu: needs to apply a thicker coat on the bumpers!! {thumbdwn}

Most cars from the factory the color is slightly differrent on the bumpers. I work in a body shop and see it all the time.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing!!! I didn't post because I figured the metal to abs was the reason. It kind of bugs me.

A body shop once told me, the bumper and rest of the car are painted in seperate places, which accounts for most cars not being a perfect match, or something.

I actually can see the difference more when it's clean. :crap:
Makes sense though about the same paint on different materials...
