OMG! Didn't know the Evo is well knowned
 

Amazing! This early 20 year old guy about to get a heart attack when he saw my Evo this morning when getting coffee at a local 711 around 4am. It was still pitched dark outside and there wasn't any cars when I pulled into the store. The only people at the store was me and the clerk. While waiting for the coffee to be brewed, I can hear yelling outside, then that yelling started to come into the store.

Evo fan, "damn.. who's Evo is that outside"
clerk, " I dunno dood!" :dunno:
Evo fan, " that's tight.. that's tight.. dood.. man!"

I looked towards the cashier area and the guy saw me.

Evo fan, "Is that your Evo?"
me, "yah.. it's mine"
Evo fan, "man... bad ass car. I always pick that car on Gran Turismo!.. man .. oh man!" :rolleyes: :spin:
Evo fan, "is it fast.. huh.. is it?"
me, "hauls pretty good"

He then walks away and back checking out the car while I'm still waiting for the coffee to brew. I swear, if you have seen this guys' reaction, you'd be laughing your ass off. Gran Turismo sure boosted the popularity of the Evo on every kids wet dream since the first US release in '97(the video game). All I can say is this car is off the hook! :headbang: {blob} {noface}

Some guys at 7-11 accused me of having an Evo the other day. The unburnt fuel must have affected their brains. :lol:

Yah.. for realz. I've never came across to anyone acting up like infront of me. Pretty funny yet amazed how this guy is eye balling the brembo brakes. LoL :D

I thought it was funny when I showed a 20yr old guy my EVO because he didn't know it was available for sale already and he referred to my EVO as an upgraded version of his 02' Lancer and his friend thought it was odd why I traded my 02 WRX for my EVO like the standard WRX(not STI) was better than my car. They obviously were not informed of the difference between these cars.

All the EVO's were a bit to slow on GT..
don't tell me use other tracks I do . lol :D .
But it dose not stay with all the skylines or Supra.. and it also dose not boost a lot .. I hope in GT4.. you can over boost the can and you can get the engine to explode on you .. heheheh that would be fun..


I do get that kind of recation sometimes.. But never with a yelling guy. lol :drink: :drink:

I went for a cruise in an area where 95% of the resident are Asians. LOL, I thought I was driving an Enzo or a McLaren F1. :thumbup: :apimp:

i stopped by my buddies house to day to show his little cousin... he almost busted a nut on my car... needless to say i won't let him alone with it ever... :spit:

that's too funny similar thing happened to me I was at my uncles house helping him move some things when I hear all this yelling, I go outside and see litterally like 7 kids flocked around my OZ LANCER "Oh my god it's an evo that's so cool, just like on gran turismo" then I try explain that it's just an OZ and they're all "don't like man thats an evo i know one when i see one!! do a burn out for us man" I was just like:rolleyes:

No!!! I didn't mean to insult anyone (I'm an Asian too).

My EVO doesn't get a lot of attention around where I live.

I stopped at the local Chevy dealer yesterday. On my way back from the parts department, I had 7 salesmen surrounding my Evo. They were awestruck. I had to answer 20 questions about it, I felt like a salesman. Even people looking at the new chevy's stopped for a look.

As I was driving to work this morning I took a different route.. As I pulled up next to a school bus full of highschool kids, every one of them had their heads hanging out the window... I thought it was hilarious... Heard all the "Duude, check out the EVO!!"
