You might one from a dig. From a roll the mustang will you take you since he has more HP and you lose a good portion of yours as it disperses on all four wheels.

You didnt mention the fox body's gearing, or what tires the fox body will run.
....but, if the Mudstain is running slicks and 4.10s you're gonna be toast. Even drag radials and 3.73 and I think you're gonna get burnt. |

thing is bench racing without enough information is very tough to do. say if you made 310whp on a mustang dyno, and ur buddy's 390 was on a dynojet or dynopack, then u guys are closer in power than you think... assuming both of u ran the whp figures on teh same day same dyno, then u'd need all the bolt-on's + cams + race gas to keep up or maybe even beat with him from a rolling race... if his numbers are from mustang dyno or dyno dynamics forget about it, u'll need upgraded turbo to beat him. with all the bolt-on's on stock IX turbo i've seen as high as 350whp on race gas on a DD, which is good for 119-120mph trap. but not every mustang dyno reads the same either....see what i'm talkin about ? just run him... |
since you got an IX .. i'll say you need $1k for mods
- MBC + Boost cuage + Walbro fuel pump = $250 - Cams = $600 - 02 housing = $100 - Filter = $50 do a retune and u'll be close 350 = 360 whp ! than it'll be competitive between you two .. |
