Stock Turbo Comparison Pictures: 2006 Evo IX Turbo vs 2006 STi Turbo
 

Hey all...

I thought I would take the opportunity to do a direct side-by-side comparison of a stock 2006 Evolution 9 turbo and a stock 2006 STi turbo.

There is a BIG difference between the two. I guess this is why the stock Evo turbo can impressively outflow the stock STi turbo and put down a lot more power too...

You would figure that subie would choose to go with a bigger turbo considering the 2500cc displacement.

The size difference is pretty crazy. The wheels look to be the same size but the housings are MUCH larger on the evo.
