Trading BOV'S I Have a Couple of Questions....
 

Hello.... I bought my Evo 8 with an HKS BOV, it sucks i know but my friend has an Evo 9 with the stock one, So we are going to trade :D ''thank god im getting rid of this thing'' anyways my question is, do i need anything that i need to buy or modify to fit his stock bov to my car ''me having the HKS BOV ON''? or is like a bolt on? anf will my HKS bov fit his evo 9 with no mods? another thing we are both stock just wil TBE. thank you.

even though the hks sucks, he should still give you some cash on top of that.

other way round...HKS SSQ is garbage, he should pay his friend.

why not just take what you need from him and he you? if necessary?

trying being realistic. stock ones go for about $30. i sold my hks used for about $130. like i said before, its not a good bov w/stock turbo, but you do the math.

Ok thank you for your advice but that wasn't my question...im not asking if i should give him money or if he needs to give me money... thats between me and him, my question was if they both fits in both cars with mo modification, thank you again.

if you still have the stock upper intercooler piping and the stock intake tubing, you wont need to make any modifications for the stock evo9 BOV, 100% guaranteed.

it is a direct swap.

Unless your 8 has a upper intercooler pipe made for the v band ssqv then you'll issues getting his to fit yours and his yours.
