Popping a fuse????? HELP
well once a week i pop my 20a engine fuse under the hood this has happened twice in 2 weeks.....first time i let my girl drive my car and starting from a stop it just popped...and today cruising in 5th at 50 mph it did it again. any ideas? im going to atlantic in the morning for my suspension just curious why this would be happening? voltage spike , lose wire? and i have no check engine light on! thanks

You could have a wire grounding out which is causing the fuse to pop.

I had the same thing happen to me after I put my exhaust on. The O2 sensor wire was rubbing the frame rail, rubbed a hole in it, and shorted out and popped the fuse while I was driving on the highway. So make sure you O2 sensor isn't rubbing you frame. Good luck.

Yokomo has a good point. I had the same problem after an exhaust install. Also, if you recently wired in a gauges, may want to check that out.

ya definetly sounds like something is loose. WHATEVER you do just do stick a bigger fuse in there, otherwise your liable to really damage something.
