Trunk Pop Solenoid
 

i just have a couple questions about the DEI 522t trunk pop solenoid. i'm adding this on to my Viper 791xv. can i install the system without hooking up the trunk button? how would the wiring work since there are only 2 terminals on the solenoid and i need to hook up 3 wires (12v constant, ground, and the green wire to connect to the primary harness on my 791xv)? would i need a relay for this install? i'm not sure what a couple parts are used for. i read the install guide in the how to section, but it's not very in depth and just shows a few pictures of the solenoid installed. i printed out the instructions as well, but that didnt help much. i took a picture and numbered the parts if anyone can help identify what they are used for. i think i hook up the cable end of the solenoid to #1 to hook the trunk latch release mechanism. not sure what #2, 4, and 7 are used for. i wanna try to complete this install today since it's my day off. thanks.
