Car turned off while Driving

Last night I was on my way home from the airport, it was snowing pretty hard and all of a sudden my car turned off for a second then turned right back on. I was going about 35 mph when this happend at a constant speed. About 25 min later the evo turned off again this time for about 25 sec then I could restart it. I wouldnt think the snow would cause this problem. Any Ideas?

The only mods I have to the Evo 9 are: wartalon stage I

electrical connection? Alternator is chassis ground so there's only one cable to check. Make sure the contact hardware is gootintite. ( German slang for good and tight.)

If not that than I Would pull codes from the ECU to se if the sensors logged anything.

That sucks man.We had a car at work that would die and the wipers would go on and the lights would turn on and off.I know the alternator took a crap as well as a few other things.

I took the plugs apart and there is no corrosion, all the grounds are secure. I now cant get it started at all. when i turn the key to the on position i can get all the lights to work, door locks work fine, radio works, but i get no gauges at all. when i first rotate the key to on you usually can see everything light up and go away but i get nothing. the car will crank all day but wont start. i dont think its the starter, i think it has to do with the same reason that my gauge cluster isnt lighting up. i was also thinking it could be something with my car alarm or maybe my key lost its coding. not quite sure at this point.

Fuel? fuel pump?

I'll bet its your alternator. It sounds like you have the crank from the starter, but that's pulling power from your battery. Your battery is fine since you have the lights, power doors, etc. Alternator or a bad ground is what's left...

Check the battery terminal connections and make sure they are tight.

Also check the wiring harness for the fuel pump.
