Two Evo VIII's on Pass Time(Speed Chnl)
 

I just watched two Evo's on a new show called Pass Time. Are you guys on this forum? The show seems to be a little weak but I'm bored.

Haven't seen that one yet. I saw a single EVO on a couple weeks ago. I will have to see if I can catch these on reruns.

i just saw it like 10 mins ago. i must say i was a little dissapointed at their performance.

The judges or whatever they are, were expecting the Evo's to run in the low 20's.

BTW- They were black EVO VIII's and one of the guys was tuned by Mynes. I think this show isn't too fond of imports.

What did they run

One ran 11.85 the other ran 12.22 not sure if this was the one tuned by Mynes. It also looked like some of the cars were having issues with the track.

I just watched it for the 5th time (DVR of course) and the guy on the right lane was running a Mynes Stage 1 kit 400 HP, he ran 12.22 the other guy on the left lane tuned by Mynes(est 600hp 32lbs of boost) ran 11.85.

Like I said, I'm bored.

^Wow that sounds kind of dissapointing but problems at the track does happen sometimes.

I just saw that episode also and was surprised that all three of the contestants said the Evos would run in the 20's :lol:.

They try to guess the Combined time of the 2 cars so umm..yes...they should have been in the 20's

It's the first time I've watched the show, so now that makes sense.

Really? I didn't realize that was the objective. Then that would make sense.

hey there. Those two black evos are done at Mynes. The track wasn't prep that great that day, and they only like to prep the tracks for the muscle cars. Each car only gets one run and no practice run or anything... it's a one-shot deal :(

Car 1 => Mynes stage 1 Evo 9 SE: Stock turbo with Tomei Pon Cams, Mynes IC Kit & on 104 octane. That car usually run 11.85's at that track @ 117mph.

Car 2 => that evo 8 belongs to another evom member. It's a Jackson 2.3 Long block with the Mynes MoTeC tune. Car was pushing 640whp on our Mustang Dyno and should be low 10's car.

For the 2-car run, they are trying to guess the combined time of two cars... that's why they are guessing 20+ seconds.

For Car 2, if the track was prepped, I'm sure he would have done a lot better, his start was a bit wicked but got control of it rather quickly.{thumbup}
