A/C Doesn't Work

So, new Evo. AC doesn't work. Doesn't really bug me but I would like to get it fixed:

Symptoms: Press the AC button, light comes on, but air does not get any colder.

What should I check?

Also, how much does an AC service typically cost? A few hundred, or am I looking at four figures?

a brand spankin new condensor usually costs around a grand but hopefully you just need more refridgerant or you have a leak.

buy a $10 r134 recharge can try that it. May just need a recharge. Also wanna check your compressor if its seized or not. GL

r134 doesnt mysteriously dissapear. Theres a leak somewhere, most leaks are really small and ppl just keep refilling their a/c systems. Make sure the a/c compressor turns on! {thumbup}

How do you determine if the compressor is working??

I would take it in for service, they can generally tell you what the issue is, may be a leak, bad seal or compressor.
