Brian Crower's 280 or 272? Stock IX Turbo
 

Here is the setup that I am planning to go with:

Ported intake manifold and exhaust manifold
Buschur Race Front Mount
Megan o2 housing
3' turboback
All bolt ons...........

Basically you get the point. This will be tuned with E85 @ 28 psi on the stock IX turbo. The question is should I get the 280's or 272's? I have looked at the s1 and cossie cams already and have decided to go with bc because of the price. I will be trying to hit 400whp with this setup. What do you guys think? Is the 280 and springs/retainers worth it?

i would go with the 280's

the 280s are the way to go.. Also, we have some BC 280's in stock at a killer price if you need. along with springs and retainers also.. let me know!!

how is the idle w/ 280's on an evo, I know the idle is terrible on a Supra w/ 280's? other than that 280's will make more power

280's i have 280 comp cams and my idle is fine u can barely tell that i have them

Anybody with a IX that is running 280's on stock turbo?
