I know what's under the trap door
My belly pan had some minor speed bump damage right in the center. It came that way from the dealer. There is a trap door in the belly pan right in the front center. I was kind of worried that something could be hurt in the area behind the damage so I took out the clips/screws and pulled the trapdoor down. It is an access panel to the central jacking point. There is also a tow hook in the same place. Both are pretty strong looking, so I wouldn't be too concerned if you bumped a curb lightly pulling into a parking spot.

yeah that's where they need to hook your car for the dyno in the front :)

This will sound crazy to some of you. I cut my panel in half. That way, I can just take out three screws to get to that jacking point. It worked out well in terms of the number of screws and how it can be split.
