are there a lot of evo 7's in the states? just curious i havnt seen one yet.

if you see one its prolly a conversion.

i believe there is few. if i remember correctly, there is one in Chicago?

due to the fact that they are illegal to have here the numbers are very limited

what would tell a conversion apart from an actual one, anything in particular?

if it was a perfect replica...visually nothing would be different

however I know evo vii wheels are a rarity and would be on of the hardest things to source

I only know of about a handful of partial conversions

a guy i know has one up at purdue

its not that hard to reg one in the states. abuddy of mine has a RHD Honda integra and it only took him about a month to get it legit and full coverage insurance.

cali would be a hard place to get it lagit but it is possible

Here in europe we have many VII's...nothing special about the VII actually!
Many problems with the VII's gearbox and AYC Diff..but better gear ratio's than EUDM VIII's

BTW: Why is it so hard to get them legal? Just get a euro LHD version... emissions and stuff is more or less the same than on VIII's
