Take a test drive first - in stock form the 9 and the 10 feel very different from each other and from the 8.

I have an 06 IX WW GSR with 11000 miles super clean. pm me for details. BTW I live very close to Pembroke Pines .
|
After riding in a X MR the choice is easy: IX
|
yep last true evo is the evo ix. the x is a luxury evo ahha.
|
^ i agree, im not a big fan of the X so i would deff. go with the IX...i have one and love it
|
I feel the exact opposite about the SST EVO ^^
Everytime the car downshifts its pure sex.. And the way the ASC rejected my attempts to have fun were just as impressive |
evo 9 to me the evo x isnt like an evo evo either lol...plus in my opnion the 9 looks alot sexier
|
it's like breaking up with a girlfriend. you think about the good times, but don't remember why you broke up, until after you get back together again. then you breakup again.

Very well said Sir. There are still some low mile VIII running around but I guess I'm just partial to VIII's because I own one. Either way VIII or IX you'd be happy. The X not so much. |
if you cant decide between a 9 and 10 then just look for the best deal you can get when you find a grand slam deal take it. Thats what i have done and im on my 3rd evo now. I love these cars. When i drove a 10 i was a little disappointed at first. but then after thinking about it with some mods and some sway bars it could be a mean machine!
|
I found a realy god deal on a 9. im gona go look at it tomorrow.
|
IX all day every day

who says u cant be a playa and have bolth ahahahha {thumbup} |
evo ix se....enough said.
|
It seems like everyone agrees on the IX.
Go get an X. |
i would suggest the 8 or 9, the 10s are heavy and slow to me, and i think the 10 MR is garbage, but im a purist, im considering buying one again also, my friends make me want one again lol.
06 9 GSR-SE wootwoot {thumbup} |
love my 9 and the body style, X looks big and fat. lol
|
+1 on a IX!
|
Get a IX!

anyways, i don't like the evo x very much. it looks good, but its more driver friendly. evo ix's are more track cars. |
If I had to keep one mostly stock, it'd be a X, because I think they'd suit DD needs very well. If I wanted to do a bolt-on build and make sensable, streetable power, than I'd choose a IX. If I wanted to build a all out, from the ground up race car, an VIII is the way to go.
Me, I'm all about building a bolt-on sensable, streetable power type of car. So why do I have an VIII? Because I'm poor and can't afford a IX :D So I deal with an VIII. |
i would probable just take a X
|
I just picked up a used IX myself and couldn't be happier! (well, maybe if it was brand new....)
|
I love my IX but you should test drive a X and see which one you like more.
|
Look at what some of the big companies are doing with the X's.... AMS using a X for redline time attack. The other AMS Blue Evo X that is rapping the time attack competition.. I love the look of the X's much better than the 8's or 9's. They are a bit piggish in stock form but how in the heck leaves and evo stock?!
There were some X's in the 10's in the drag racing world. If I had to buy another evo it would be X but id be aggressive with it just like I was on my 8. |
IX ftw! ;)
