Big cams = "Your car doesn't sound too good" ??? Anyone?
 

Who has heard this comment before?

I hear it ALL the time i feel like. "Hey man your cars running kinda rough you should get that checked out." Or "Your car sounds like its about to explode" etc etc...

Ive had S2's in my Evo for about 2 months now and get this all the time.

I also hear this alot with my Neon running a 420A with crane 14 cam....

Anyone else?

just say you dont knwow hat it is and need to get it checked out. say u have a bad spark plug :)

I woudln't worry about it. The right people will know why your car sounds that way haha

Kind of reminds me of my exedy twin, people are like man your car sounds like ****. What the hell is that noise.....I go what? I don't hear anything haha

^^ lol, yep get that a lot too. Cosworth M3 IX cams with the lope set to VERY lopey and the loud marble rattling Exedy twin HD clutch.

Tell them you're trying to make it sound like a V8!:lol:

my gsc s1's seem to have an aggressive lope to them as well...GULP GULP GULP

Your tuner can smooth it out. I have S1, and people can't really tell I have cams

Just ignore people that ask that quesion, they obviously dont know what there talking about

has anyone heard of kelford 272 idling like sh!t?? cuz mine do. car almost stalls alot annoying
