Does The JDM Evo 9 Bumper fit US 8's
 

I called gruppe-s yesterday to order an evo 9 JDM rear bumper and they told me that welding has to be done it won't just bold on is that true because if it is Im bummed out.

I actually just had mine put on Monday.

My guess is they're probably talking about cutting and re-welding the rear bumper support. Other than that, it was pretty much bolt on, minus removing the rivets from the old bumper retainer and transferring it over to the new bumper and modding the license plate bracket.

the oem rear crash beam needs to be modded to reuse

if you simply remove it, it's a bolt on affair
