A few minor issues I'm curious about.

I have a few issues with my 03 viii. It's got mostly everything from a 06 mr, motor interior etc. The car has a issue with the seat belts, they stay locked unless I'm braking/decellerating. That's issue 1.
Issue
2. A bunch of drivetrain noise that isn't deathwhine. Curious to find out what it is.
3.my passenger door doesn't unlock and lock with the rest of them. Curious if it's just broken in the door or if there's a quick fix..dumb question but why not ask.
4. The car has a boosting issue. Wga won't open. Vaccuum lines are ran correct, had a mbc, took it off and still has the issue. Common? Bad wga?
5. The car has acd but all 3 lights come on after a few minutes.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
Lmk if any of these are common problems. Thanks guys!

4. when you took the mbc off did you reinstall oem hoses with boost pills?
5. usually means you need to bleed the acd system or the acd pump could be bad

I don't have the oem hoses, and what is a boost pill? I just ran the line from the wga to the nipple off the charge pipe.

From the factory there is a tiny restrictor in the vacuum line. Without it running the factory set up you will have issues.

Oh..I'll try and find a stock line then, or just put a different boost controller in.

And is there a how to on bleeding the ACD system?

Jack the car up, put a pan under the transfer case. Make sure resorvoir is full, then hop in and turn the key to run, hold the gas floored for 10 seconds. If it is working it should run the pump

Gonna try that tomorrow. Thanks.
Anybody have a idea of what a fob costs and the price to get it programed? Either mine is shot, or I've got an electrical issue inside of the car.

Another thing. If I get on the car from 1st, to 5th it's fine. But if I start off at let's say a 40 roll and get on it that's when it overboosts.. Ideas? I still need that factory line but I think this is odd.

you are putting more load on the car like that

you need a mbc or factory boost lines

stop going WOT until you get that sorted out

I don't, but I had to to figure out the issue lol

Just curious if bleeding the acd system solved the problem with all the lights on the panel since I have the same issue...how much is a new cad pump out of curiosity?

Still_Spinnin Jun 22, 2010 08:59 PM

Nope, My pump doesnt bleed out any fluid for some reason. I did it 20x times. It does make a sound like its bleeding, And after the cycle has finished all 3 acd lights come on, But it doesnt fix the issue.

RE: The drivetrain noise

- try changing all your fluids (front dif, rear dif, transfer case, tranny) first.
- Inspect your driveshaft bushings
- How old is your clutch?
- Coilovers? Stock Springs? Lowering Springs? - The answer here could dictate alignment suggestions etc...
- Check your tire pressure.
