peakboost where'd u go ???????
haaving fitting probs with my brand new manifold i got some time ago and just getting around to putting everything on and now with the turbo bolted to it the compressor hits the front motor mount, i know i can rotate the compressor but i shouldent have to and what if i rotate it and it still hits ??? and to add on to that when the turbo and manifold are bolted up together with the gasket ( 4 bolt square) i can see gaps where the 2 meet even with the gasket in place !!!! anyone else run into this prob? i thought peakboost made quality stuff?? now that i see there not a vendor on here anymore iam assuming iam screwed !!

check to see if the 4 bolt flange is flat with a straight edge.
I'd say you should clock your compressor housing- i don't know if all the companies clock their kits perfectly for you... |

they are still in business but they never pick up there phone or return emails ken will take care of you its just getting ahold of him you will just have to call untill they pick up the never returned my voicemails or anything.

I talked to Ken this morning. Just send them an email with pictures and he will guide you in the right direction for the installation.

thats funny cause i emailed him all the pics and called there 8 more times and never heard from him again.. face it ive cut my loses with them! now we all know why there not a vendor on evom anymore customer service like this !!!! ive already found the manifold i want to get but now i need to shell out ANOTHER $1,000 and hopefully can sell this one but in the long run please ppl and fellow evo members do not use peakboost stuff !!!! and if u have a prob with any of there products your basically beat .... |
